1. TITLE OF THE PROJECT: CHARGING PACK

2. INTRODUCTION

Our project is based on developing a charging pack. The main idea for it is that we can

charge any electrical appliance in the range of 15 V to 24 V by using USB output. We will also

have LED light on the top of the pack to ensure visibility in dark areas. The purpose for this

project is that when we are going for outdoor activities like a camping or hiking trip, we will

have a power pack that can help us charge our electronic staff such as mobile phones for

example, also it will have space on one side to accommodate or store certain other things.

3. UTILITY OF THE PROJECT

This project has dual utility :

➢ This project will help the people going for a trip without concern for having any trouble

for their electronics devices to be out of battery.

➢ Also, when our home is facing power outage for some natural reason such as earthquake

or flooding or some other technical problem, this charging pack can be utilized. By

having this pack it will make our lives easier as well.

Our project is useful, user friendly, and light. For instance, When we move it in any direction,

it’s hard for the wire to be cut or disconnect from inside, so it can be called a safety charging

pack.

4. TIME FRAME

The time period to finish this project in one semester will be challenging for us due to many

courses that we are taking this semester, Also part shipping will takes time, so we have decided

to order the stuff during week three and we expect that we will have all the parts by the end of

fifth week. On the other hand, we will try our best to finish it before the due time rather one

week before the scheduled time. If we have time at the end, will try to add more stuff in our

project to make it more efficient and more creative.

5. TEAM MEMBERS & THEIR TAKSKS

Our team consists of two members:

➢ Mohammad Ali and

➢ Omar Akhmimi.

Ali will be designing the circuit and doing the research for the project. Akhmimi will be

hooking the components up, making the exterior design of project, and for the finishing,

both will be working together.

By doing research we have come up with List of part that we may need for this project:

-Pack

- 15v to 24v Battery

- Solar charging controller

- Switches

- Ammeter/Voltmeter
