Social class has been the most propagating factor with the high rates of crimes being
experienced. There has been that unrest due to this difference which is not that easy to close.
There are many reasons why the less fortunate in the society engage in crime. It is not that
they enjoy robbing people or killing causing suffering to many people but it is just because
their current situation forces them. There are various reasons which forces them to engage in
crime as shown below.
Lack of basic needs. When a person lacks the things like food, clothes and the shelter, they
are forced to take that what is not meant to be theirs so as all to get that utility. You meet to
find them breaking into people homes in order to get these necessities. One cannot go without
food and yet the neighbour has plenty of it. So they risk to be jailed or be punished heavily
but ensure that their stomachs are full.
The poor in the society tend to envy the tycoons who surround them. Instead of working hard
to reach them and be like them, they end up destroying them. That is why you have heard so
many cases in the United States of people being murdered at their home place and nothing
was taken. Those people should work hard to reach the same level with the others. They view
the situation as the rich have been grabbing what is meant to be shared.
Being in the lower class, most of them face desperation and tend to possess lower esteem.
Having most living in this solace, they consume drugs so as to forget their problems living a
lie life. It is that obvious that they do not have the money to purchase the drugs and so they
end up using unlawful means to get the money. With all an excuse to purchase e the drugs in
order to remain “high.”
Social class also come with state of being unemployed. When your college can afford all the
luxury while you yourself even to afford one meal is an issue. This will tempt you to also find
other ways to get what your neighbour has. Some end up stealing and robbing into other
