Human beings are products of their environment. Psychologically speaking,
human beings are wired to submit to some form of authority. It is up to us to choose which authority
to choose. In the current world, there are laws and rules that govern countries. Each country has
got its own set of acceptable rule and laws. Same can be said of the environment. Governments
across the world strive to work together and uphold the rule of law. Unfortunately, there are
countries which are marred by chaos and injustices. Death, robbery, and all kinds of inhumane acts
seemingly go unpunished in these war torn countries. A Good example of these countries include
Somalia. Acts of terror are the most notable things from these countries. Same as ISIS led
countries. But the question begs. What is the motivating factor for these terrorists to pursue their
acts?
Right Wing in Right-Wing Authoritarianism
The right wing authoritarianism is a personality and ideological condition that is
studied in the social, political, and personality psychology. There have been studies conducted to
assess the extent at which right wing authoritarianism affects the psychological abilities of a
person. The research reveals that there is a correlation between the intelligence of a child and his
social and political prejudices during his adult years. Interestingly, if a child at the age of 10 shows
signs of intelligence, then chances are he will grow to be a light minded adult. This is in terms of
the political awareness and social skills. The social attitude that this child will portray in his later
years will majorly depend on his experiences as a child and the kind of society that he grew up in.
If a child has been brought up in a society that is filled with prejudice, chances are
high that he will grow up resenting the society. Altemeyer (1998) argued that prejudice and
intergroup hostility are determined using a stable and knowing and acknowledging the personal
