EXPLAIN FUNDAMENTAL ETHICAL ISSUES 2
Explain Fundamental Ethical Issues
Research ethics govern how scientific and other types of research are conducted and how
the information needs to be passed on to other. Research involving children considers anticipated
issues and predicaments (Graham, et al, 2015). For conducting ethical research, it is essential to
respect the dignity of the child. The essential consideration for research with children is deciding
the need for research, child involvement, and the extent of involvement.
At the beginning of the research process, the research must involve the purpose and
impact of the critical ethical issues that might be experienced by the child in context to the
probable benefits and harms. Family-related aspects are also essential because the approval of
family is also required, without this a researcher cannot proceed with the research process (Binik,
2017).
The goal of the study is to conduct a critical investigation of essential ethical problems in
research with children (Harper, et al, 2018). An informational pamphlet is designed for the
people who have been thinking of participating in the research study. People who are concerned
about the completion of the study and explanation of the key ethical issues can also join to
address the problem (Oulton, 2016). It will also help to know the ways to resolve the issues.
