ORGANIZING 2
The organization is a key part of management. When organizing the staff management
will have to identify positions that may need additional help along with understanding which
employee (s) will be responsible for what job duties. Once the management identifies what
activities are needed to obtain the objectives of the department to meet the goals of the company
management can start to aligning employees to meet those objectives of the department.
The Human Resource Department
The human resource department will be adding two employee's, and they will be
generalists. The human resource department will be paired up in teams of two one existing
employee and one new hire this is so Atha can have both new and old ideas combined into one
cohesive unit. The first group of two generalists will be in charge of compensation, benefits,
workforce planning and employment. The second group of two generalists will be in charge of
training, recruitment, development, and employee relations.
Group one of generalists will be in charge of making sure all existing employees have an
employee evaluation filled out by the employee and their manager. They will also be in charge of
making sure that the information is relayed to their co-workers of any training that is being
requested by the employee or manager. This group will also be working on the buddy system and
making sure that the pool of buddies is up to date and available to management.
Group two of generalists will be in charge of training new and existing employees they
will also have to work with their co-workers to make sure that all new hires have a buddy at their
level of knowledge. This group will also be responsible for having a pool of qualified employees
internally and externally for possible hire and or promotion. This pool must be kept up to date
and available to management. Along with the pool, there will be a list of positions that are open
for hire internally and externally that will have to manage as well.
