Organizatioal Communication Problem
The particular communication problem
Almost all institutions have rules and regulations that govern the manner in which they
conduct their businesses. The essence of the existence of the rules and regulations is to make
sure that all employees know the institutional goals and how they need to conduct themselves in
a manner that will enhance the achievement of the objectives. Besides, the rules and regulations
are supposed to make sure that there is a perfect relationship among employees. In this regard,
workers have knowledge of the ethical considerations that they need to make in their dealings
with their colleagues. In our organization, it is true that there are rules, regulations, and
procedures that inform the conduct and decisions of the employees. In the past, there appears to
be a huge problem with the manner in which the individuals conduct themselves.
Over the last three months alone, the Human Resources department has had to deal with
over thirty-indiscipline related cases. Among them, twelve people were suspended, and others
received warnings over their future conducts. Additionally, in the same period, the organization
witnessed a decline in the general output of the employees. Instructively, there is a close
relationship between performance and discipline among the workers in an institution. If there is a
violent upsurge in misconduct among the employees, the output will decline (Smoktunowicz et
al, 2015). One of the issues that emerge in this scenario is that there is a worryingly weak
relationship among the employees in the institution. It is evident that the constant clashing is a
direct result of the failure of the administration to lay clear demarcations on the boundaries that
people need to operate while carrying out their duties.
In sum, the human resources department has failed to communicate efficiently what the
institution expects from every worker. From this high number of cases related to misconduct,
