INTERVIEW WITH LEADERS 2
Interview with Leaders
Introduction
Leadership is the activity of leading people in a company towards attaining their goals
and objectives. The leaders perform business practices by influencing workers behavior in
different ways. These leaders motivates employees, sets visions and guides workers in the
company. It is important to understand how to become a leader (Fairhurst & Connaughton,
2014). To this end, I will analyze the finding of two interviews I conducted in the business
sector.
Interview Proceedings
The interviews aimed to understand how business leaders run their companies activities
to assess their leadership qualities. Two managers were interviewed, one from a local
organization and the other from a local branch of an international corporation. The first one to
interview was Mr. Ravish, the managing director of Glass Technologies one of the fastest
growing IT companies in the country, thanks to his exemplary leadership skills. The other
interviewee was Mrs. Lahm, a branch manager in Barclays Bank limited.
The interview question a brief and straight to the point. Given that the interviewees were
busy people the interview was designed to take the shortest time possible. The interview
questions posed to the interviewee were as follows:
1. How are you able to manage your company?
2. What are some of the most challenging analytical problems you have been able to solve for
the enterprise?
3. How do you overcome these challenges?
4. How many hours do you work in a day?
