More often than not, a successful retirement plan requires participation from both the
stakeholders and the employees themselves. It is therefore imperative to include ways through
which the employees will stay involved and interested in the retirement plan. Into the bargain it
is important to heed to the stipulated rules and regulations to ensure the plain is in life with the
state commendations.
In our plan therefore, we will communicate information to employees principally through
word of mouth. This will be done through meetings by the various departmental heads. Notices
will also be pinned to provide information on the same as well as through direct messages,
emails and whatsapp groups (O'Malley & McGladrey, 2006). The interplay of these means of
relaying information will ensure that the employees are reminded of the plan and they are fully
aware of it. These messages will also be tailored more specifically to individual circumstances
for attention and better results (Allen, 2019).
This information will be communicated to the employees at a rate dependent on the
platform used. Verbally, the information will be relayed through weekly meetings held for
performance assessment. The emails, direct messages, and whatsapp messages will similarly be
sent at least once a week without failure. This is to keep the employees as updated on this
information as possible and keep them motivated towards their involvement in the same
(O'Malley & McGladrey, 2006).
