Mental Health in India and U.S. Compared
More often than not, developing countries are always linked with poor health practices
mounted upon by limited quality and access. The United States, the chosen nation, ranks highest
among countries with the best healthcare quality and services. However, despite its economic
dominance, together with other financial giants like Ukraine, Colombia, and the Netherlands,
they have the highest prevalence rates of mental disorders. On the contrary, countries like
Nigeria and Shanghai record consistently low mental health conditions, with the rate lower in
Asian countries in general. This is why India was chosen as the model country.
India is among the world's poorest countries, with a population of roughly over 1.38

the country is not overwhelmed by mental health conditions despite its significantly vast
population.
