Abstract
This paper explores cross-cultural issues faced in training in detail. Such problems include
communication styles, individualism vs. collectivism, attitudes towards conflict, amongst many
others. Managers need to identify these issues as they arise to come up with initiatives to help
them overcome them. When these issues are adequately overcome in the organization during
training, the workforce's productivity is increased. The managers also have a more comfortable
role in ensuring that the goals and objectives they set are met.
