It is no secret that with the continued evolution of the globe, one tends to interact and
recognize people from different cultures. With the growing globalization, in this relatively
globalized world, this is important as in most cases, differences in opinions and decision-making
often arise from our cultural diversity and not logic, facts, and evidence. Mostly, our choices and
lines are based on the concept of cultural conditioning which advocates for the notion that human
decision-making abilities and thought processes more often than not are narrowed down to the
cultural background. With this notion, growingly predominant in societies today, there are rising
cases of prejudgments wherein assumptions are made about a person without the requisite
knowledge to make such decisions with guaranteed accuracy. It relates to the preconceived
judgment towards people based on social class, age, gender, disability, ethnicity, race, obesity,
political beliefs, sexual orientation, religion, and other personal characteristics. These
prejudgments are what lead to prejudices which translate to the widening gap between minorities
and majorities with the proportions and ratios at a rather worrying extent.
Cultural Diversity
Several factitious partitions divide people around the globe. Whether governments and
the people admit or not, it is a factor that exists in our societies going to the extent of interactive
and multicultural human conditions (Hewstone, 2015).
Perspectives of Cultural Diversity
Culture is an issue that is discussed comprehensively by educators, theorists, the public,
and policymakers in the explanation and examination of the various problems through each refer
to different concepts. It swings between labelling people while it also serves as a factor to ensure
differences are respected to ensure the issue of prejudice is non-existent (Lin, 2020). This makes
