The qualitative research by Fong, Davis, Growdon, Albuquerque, & Inouye, (2015)

pertains to a literature review of the overlapping presentation of delirium and dementia in

individuals who are elderly. The problem statement of the research by Fong et al. (2015) pertains

to the investigation of the conditions affecting mental health in old age. The significance of

nursing of the research problem investigated by the researchers is that the research determines

the overlap between the two mental health conditions related to senility, to suggest preventive

and treatment modalities. The purpose of the researchers was to provide an argument for the
