ACHE is one of the international professional community with more than 48000
healthcare administrators who lead the hospitals, healthcare systems and other medical facilities.
The ACHEs mission is to develop its members and ensure proper healthcare leadership, and
ACHEs vision is to establish a society of professionals and dedicated leaders in improving
healthcare (Nguyen & Wood, 2019). This association is founded by leaders who have the duties
and responsibilities of making informed decisions for all clinical operations and also manage the
day-to-day operations in healthcare facilities starting from the board room to bedside
(Hernandez, O’Connor & Meese, 2018). The organization was founded to advance healthcare
management through aspects such as education and research. However, the executive is
responsible for selecting employees, recruiting and hiring all the health caregivers; thus, they are
responsible for ensuring the hospitals have an excellent workforce. Therefore, in my view,
ACHE members must be health care providers, executives, and people at high ranks, such as
directors and CEOs.
