Introduction
Climate change is an issue of concern globally, with various institutions analyzing the
various discussions on climate change. The paper analyzes various articles to assess how the
articles use qualitative research methods to assess various issues in global climate change. The
paper, therefore, chooses the articles to be analyzed based on the topic it discusses, focusing on
articles that discuss various issues around climate change only. The articles are from the google
scholar database and are very credible as they are all published in various journals. The paper
also analyzes the article's methodology in choosing the articles for discussion. The paper uses
qualitative analysis methods such as conversation analysis, critical discourse analyses, and
Thematic Analysis.
The five articles in the paper include DeLaurier's study on Locating co-presence in
media messages about global warming, which uses a conversational analysis methodology to
assess the communication on media channels on various environmental issues such as climate
change to identify the public perception of the issue (DeLaurier & Salvador, 2016). Another
article is the Influence of temperature on climate change and global warming discourse on
Twitter by Yeo et al. (2017). The article uses conversational discourse on Twitter as the
methodology to assess the perception of the influence of temperature on climate change. The
