There are many aspects to Early Childhood Education. There are four different types of
curriculums: high scope, creative, core know, and tools of the mind. Technology is a part of each
one of these curriculums. There is also the social-emotional aspect of Early Childhood
Education, and another considerable aspect is ethics. In this essay, I will focus on one of the
curriculums and discuss how technology, social-emotional, and ethics are involved in this field.
In this first part of the essay, I have created a learning opportunity using the creative
curriculum. The children will start by standing in a circle. One child will have a bouncy ball.
That said child will then bounce the ball to another student, and that student will state their full
name and something fun they did over the weekend. This activity will continue until all the
children have had a chance to share. With this activity, the children will meet all objectives.
Having the children interact with each other promotes social/emotional development. Physical
development is when the children are bouncing the ball to another child and then catching the
ball. Cognitive development is when the child decides what they would like to share and bounce
the ball to another child. When the children share their names and what they did over the
weekend helps with their language development.

book about ecosystems and let the children ask questions about the pictures and then draw
parallels between what they see in the book and the environment near your school. Then I would
tell the children that they will be "ecosystem discoverers" and go on a hike around the school,
but first, they must get their exploring tools. I would give each child a small plastic sand pail
with their name. Each child will also get a few plastic sandwich bags to collect dirt, leaves,
flowers, or any other materials they find in abundance during the hike. The children will also be
