Statistics Concepts and Descriptive Measures
On the excel spreadsheet, I chose the consumer food tab for this task. Information in
columns A, B, and C contain quantitative information and sections D and E contain qualitative
information. The degree of estimation for segments A, B, and C is interval and D and E are
nominal. The mean and middle have been determined for each quantitative segment. These
numbers show the middle or normal of the information. The mean is normally more than the
middle aside from the non-contract family unit obligation segment. This could be because of the
way that few families do not have any obligation other than their home loan. I have likewise
determined the standard deviation and range on the accompanying spreadsheet. Each of the three
sections has a low standard deviation implying that the vast majority of the numbers are near the
normal. The range tells how broadly spread the information in every section is.
