following paper intends to explore and analyze the strategic planning utilized by the McDonald's
Corporation. We will also examine how the plan is formulated and executed in the corporate
business. The planning will be accomplished by looking into McDonald's mission and vision,
PESTEL analysis, SWOT analysis, and opportunities.
A solid strategic plan is essential to an organization to help achieve goals and make a
structure and a guideline for all critical decision-making. A management plan aids in supporting
the organization's strengths and financing opportunities available in the external market. That
helps overcome weaknesses and threats through undertaking some actions. Additionally, it
provides an achievable and strategic competitive lead by financing the strengths, available
resources, and the organization's capabilities. An organization is also able to assess and gauge
progress made using a plan. Activities of an organization are strengthened because there are both
short-term goals and long-term goals (George, 2020).
The purpose is to increase the reader’s knowledge and skills in the areas; (a) Craft a
usable vision, mission, and values for an organization. (b) Apply analytical tools and industry
