An effective communication plan strategy helps the Australia Post in controlling change
effects or fear among stakeholders due to changes implemented. Change communication
plan also allows an organization's communication channels to remain effective and open,
facilitate automatization, and encourage organizational hypotheses. Also, an effective plan
will allow effective and efficient communication efforts that will last longer.
3. What can be the loss or drawbacks of the change? How could this be taken into account in the
communication process?
There are various challenges regarding the implementation of changes which may include
difficulty in managing multiple teams within the organization, determining the different needs
required by multiple project sites, and lack of visibility in the change process. The Australia
Post should adequately prepare its personnel and workers for change before making any
implementations to increase visibility efficiency and adoption of these changes.

Identify all stakeholders or audience
Highlight how delivery methods to be used.
Project status including current milestones achieved by the organization.
2. What practical arrangements do you need to consider when arranging and managing
communication/training activities?
Prepare for resistance - look at the issue or situation from a different point of view
and identify various reactions that will follow change implementation.
Understand how change will impact the audience and know how change will affect or
impact each individual.
Notify the people early and let them know the type of change that is coming and
allow them a reasonable time to get used to change ideas.
Allow the audience to vent their views or feelings through feedback that will allow
them to express their views and feelings effectively. This will prevent further
resistance and allows the audience to deal with objections and fear individually.
Present and emphasize positive impacts or benefits of changes including both long-
term and short-term consequences. Highlight all good changes and avoid listing
pitfalls or challenges that might occur in the long-run.
Be honest and reassure the audience that change will not affect their work or
responsibilities within the organization.

Practical arrangements in change communication plan is essential since it allows the
organization to adequately implement corrections and effective modification of change plan.
