Teaching philosophy also describes how you teach and justification for why you teach that way. Just as Albert Einstein said “I never teach my pupils; I only attempt to provide the conditions in which they can learn”. I totally agree to such philosophy which actually inspired mine with the hope that my philosophy can also help me achieve my teaching and learning goals. Philosophy statement My teaching philosophy statement is, “Each child has unique strengths which can be unearthed by determining the child’s dominant learning style and continually monitoring their progress.” Application A pedagogic philosophy such as mine demands that my teaching style be highly interactive, engaging students in a dialogue, and often putting students into dialogue with each other. I strive to structure my teaching around my student’s needs, rather than the demands of a particular concept or text.
