- There is no central image of the world (world view) any longer.

- Nature dominates rather than ego.

- Nature, too, does not develop an organism in accordance with an idea.

- What we hear is determined by our own emptiness, out own receptivity; we receive to

the extent we are empty to do so.

- Become receptive to the world around us.

- The less we approach that world without preconceived notion, the more open we are to

what is actually happening at the moment around us.

- Anything is possible and be open to these endless possibilities.

- Chance:

- No matter what method he used, he relied on chance, which allows anything to happen

in it. That way, he and his music would always be part of a whole that was bigger than

Cage himself.

controlling, it is no longer about you, but it is about the larger world.
