Medicine Culture
The proposed culture is culture of medicine and treatment in healthcare delivery. The
approach involves visiting a healthcare facility for minor conditions such as headache and
stomach. Patients have a culture of consulting physicians in-person or online (Cybulski et al.,
2018). Clinicians work together with the patients to determine the diagnostic tests and treatment
plans. Providers allow the patient to understand their condition and the processes involved in the
treatment process (Cybulski et al., 2018). Patients have a culture of visiting a healthcare facility
for annual or regular checkups. The regular examination reveals underlying conditions that could
be affecting the health of patients.
What I intend to disseminate about the culture is to encourage the registered nurses on the
need to carry out a rigorous examination. Another responsibility is to educate patients about their
condition, treatment, and need to adhere to treatment (Cybulski et al., 2018). The culture
increases the tendency to take over-the-counter drugs, which can affect the health of patients.
Healthcare workers have a responsibility to educate patients since taking drugs without proper
consultation can lead to intoxication. Some patients get addicted to drugs as a result of taking
medicine without prior consultation with healthcare practitioner.
The specific aspect that the proposal will address is the relationship between the medicine
culture and patient outcomes. The focus is to investigate the level of efficacy of the medicine
culture in addressing health issues. The proposal will seek to analyze the data and present facts
about the culture and its impact on patient outcomes. The proposals' findings are meant to inspire
the registered nurses to offer patient-centered care (Blaiss et al., 2019). Findings will disseminate
the risk of over-the-counter drugs and non-adherence to treatment plans leading to poor patient
outcomes.
