Temperatures
The typical yearly temperature goes from 51 °F (11 °C) on the Pacific coast to 40 °F (4 °C) in the upper
east. The most reduced temperature kept in the state was −48 °F (−44 °C) in Winthrop and Mazama. The
most noteworthy kept temperature in the state was 120 °F (49 °C) at Hanford on June 29, 2021.[92][93]
The two records were set east of the Fountains. Western Washington is known for its gentle
environment, significant haze, continuous overcast cover, durable sprinkles in the colder time of year
and warm, calm summers. The eastern locale, which doesn't profit from the general directing impact of
the Pacific Sea, once in a while encounters outrageous environment. Icy virus fronts in the colder time of
year and intensity waves in the late spring are normal. In the Western area, temperatures have reached
as high as 118 °F (48 °C) in Maple Valley[94] during the June 2021 intensity wave, and as low as −6 °F
(−21 °C) in Longview.[95]
