QUESTION 1
Communication is essential in any organization. It is through communication we can exchange
ideas, discussions, disagreements, and commitments. Managers look for employees who have effective
communication skills. These skills include giving feedback, listening, verbal communication, among
others.
Giving feedback is an important skill that any good communicator must have. It helps improve
any corporation’s efficiency as the employees are free to discuss their problems; through
communication skills, professionals can understand and overcome the hurdles and issues that the
employees are facing. In addition, new innovative ideas are generated if workers speak; this helps
increase a business’s profit rate.
Listening another valuable skill managers look for in an employee as it enhances job
effectiveness. A good communicator Intently listens to the other person and then responds
appropriately. Listening also helps to strengthen other communication skills like feedback and
presentation. Effective communication entails more than just expressing yourself clearly, it also
requires effective listening (Baumann, 2017).
Verbal communication is also a valuable skill among workers. It entails proper audibility and
the use of correct grammar. Good grammar shows managers that an employee can accomplish other
tasks on the job no matter what it is. For example, an employee can be asked to give a formal speech
because the manager believes that the worker will use the right language when talking. Managers also
look for workers who know how to communicate well in written reports, emails, meetings and signing
deals. These skills enhance the company’s overall success.
A productive employee also has good interpersonal communication as it allows for camaraderie
and achievement. Teams that communicate effectively have high productivity and responsibility
because they understand their obligations and jobs method (Bucata & Rizescu, 2017). Anyone can
communicate, but it only takes discipline and skills to communicate effectively. Good organizational
