some exotic procedure for attaining a desired level of
quality throughout an organization in order to provide a
high level of customer satisfaction. Some people may
argue that TQM simply boils down to using \"common
sense\" and not overly analyzing the information. Do you

Solution
Total Quality Management (TQM) cannot be regarded as
the common sense. TQM became common in western
countries during the 1970s when the Japanese Companies
offered very stiff competition to western countries. Then,
TQM became very important for any organisation to stay or
survive in the market. It was continous improvement in the
methods and ways of doing the work so that customers
requirements can be satisfied in most optimum ways.All
who are involved in production process were held
accountable so that error free system can be developed.
Hence, it would not be right to say that it was simply a
common sense. It required indepth analysis and study so
