The term "unstructured data" describes any information that is not organized in a
predetermined way (Lu & Holubová, 2019). For businesses that rely on timely information, this
could provide several challenges. If a business uses social media, it needs a centralized location
to easily store its data to retrieve relevant information when needed, or it risks encountering
several challenges. However, it should also be remembered that the amount of data recorded is
not so enormous as to produce confusion and superfluous ness. To solve this issue, businesses
must create efficient methods of processing and analyzing unstructured data to acquire valuable
insights.
Some risk factors require comprehension and elaboration before they can be adequately
addressed, as they impact how businesses operate. Unstructured data presents challenges for
many businesses in the modern era because of the widespread use of social media for advertising
and promotion. Certain businesses are compelled to deal with these issues, so they must be
resolved adequately. Businesses must deal with unstructured data as soon as it is collected
because of the difficulty it poses. When discussing unstructured information, it is essential to
note that it can take many forms, both physical and digital. E-mail, word processing documents,
spreadsheets, official company documents, customer data, photographs, etc., are all examples of
unstructured data (Shukla et al., 2022). Unstructured information may be stored on paper or in a
digital format. It is not easy to process and monitor unstructured data because it is not part of the
trawl's system to organize and secure the company's information.
There are risks connected with employing unstructured data formats in enterprises, such as the
potential for a database breach and a lack of compliance with proper standards (Ghavami,2020).
