Any body bored today who would like to help me with this
project please. It is due in a week.
Miss Peach, fourth grade teacher at Kelly School, wants to
set up a school store in her classroom. This is to be a
store like none other. Miss Peach wants to bring the school
store into the 21stcentury, with all transactions to be
handled electronically: students will have access to a
classroom \"ATM\" to monitor their checking and savings
account, the store will be able to sell items by debiting the
student bank accounts, and the teacher will be able to pay
weekly salaries and bonuses to the student accounts using
direct deposit.
Miss Peach uses the computer regularly to keep her grade
book and to generate work sheets. She has already built
the database to contain all records using Microsoft Access,
but she needs your help to write the programs.
All transfers of funds are handled through shared tables in
the same database.
Currently Miss Peach pays her students $3 each Monday
using paper money for doing their assigned chores during
the week. She then charges them $1 for rent on their
desks. She also pays bonuses for bringing in homework
(about $8 a week) and for good behavior ($1 a day).
This works pretty well as far as it goes, but Miss Peach
would like to model real life even more. With the new
system, the students\' pay would be posted to their bank
accounts. In order for the tax tables to work, Miss Peach
will have to increase the weekly salaries to about $150.
Each week the students would receive an earnings
statement that would list their gross pay (broken down by
salary, bonuses, and hourly pay), their current deductions
(Federal income tax, Social Security tax, Medicare tax, and
Michigan state income tax), and their net pay deposited
into their bank account. The rent for their desks would be

inflated to $25 and would be an automatic deduction from
the students\' weekly pay. There would also be a column
indicating the year-to-date values.
Although Miss Peach currently does not pay an hourly
wage, she would like the option to do so at a later time.
The pertinent formulas for calculating the various
deductions are:
Federal Tax = (Gross Pay 114.46) * 10%
Social Security Tax = Gross Pay * 6.2%
Medicare Tax = Gross Pay * 1.45%
Michigan State Tax = (Gross Pay 63.46) * 3.9%
Desk Rental = $25
The responsibilities of the Payroll group are to build a form
that Miss Peach can use to enter the weekly Salaries and
Bonuses, update thePayrollPostingandPayrolltables, and
post the deposit to theBankPostingTable. Finally, Miss
Peach needs a way to print out the Students Earnings
Statements for the week.
There are currently records in theStudentstable for seven
students, thePayrollandPayrollPostingtables for two
payrolls, and theBankPostingtable for transactions made
during the last two weeks. TheTransactionCodefor a Direct
Deposit to Checking is D.
Miss Peach has included a copy of her weekly earnings
statement to be used as a model.
