Database\" class. Thanks for any help.
Solution
Data redundancy:
Data
Data is the set of values of some information. Data is
measured, collected and reported and analyzed or
whenever it can be visualized using graphs or image or
table.
Redundancy
Redundancy means exceeding what is necessarily in
natural or more than enough times so that we may not
need them.
Data redundancy

some data fields are repeated. This data repletion may be
if a field can repeated within the table or repeated in two
or more tables. Data can appear multiple times in a
database for various reasons.
Eg.
Let us consider an example of school database. The name
of the database is Students. This database stores the
information of student like, regd no, student_name, fathers
name, dob, address and contact number etc.
Now there is another table which contains fees information
of student with fields like student_name, month, amount,
paid date etc.
Also there is another table called marks which stores
marks information of students. Here fields are
student_name, class, section, rollno, different
subjectsmarks etc.
In this situation we have different tables and have
repeated field i.e. namefield i.e student_name in student
table and other two tables fees and marks also contains
fileds student_name. Infact the field student_name in fees
table and marks table repeats the same data i.e the name
of the any student two or more times unnecessarily. This is
called data redundancy. This is the data redundancy in
multiple tables.
Data redundancy in single table.
