A clinic often encourages Medicare patients to have tests
and procedures that are not covered by Medicare. How do
you feel about this policy. Note: They always have the
patient sign an Advance Beneficiary Notice.
Solution
If the medicare think that the tests and procedures are
required then why they dont just include them in the policy,
it may be a term to make profit by the organization, but if
the patient had signed the contract then there is no point
to discuss about this formal policy.
The policy must be made felixible that can include the
tests and procedures according to the need of patient
history.
