Abstract
What is human resource planning? Human resource planning is the term that is used
to describe how companies ensure that their staff is the right staff to do the job. So why is
this important? In order to maintain a competitive status in the workplace, it is essential to
build a high-performing workforce. Yet, American society is undergoing seismic shifts.
Because of this shift, the U.S. workforce is increasing in unqualified workers and the pool
of workers is shrinking, making it an essential demand for talent. Obtaining and optimizing
the preeminent talent provides a major strategic benefit. Thus, recruiting organizations
today are seeking to analysis how to best select and retain talent and skilled employees.
