Value as a Doctoral

This source is valuable and
useful to doctoral student for
research.
Answer the following reflection questions by typing your answer directly below each question.
Note. Both sources cover the same topicleadership.
1. What similarities and differences do you find when comparing the two sources’ research
value to your doctoral journey? The difference between the articles is that Smiths article
which is not really valuable for a scholarly source, discusses the stages that leaders go
through to become an effective leader to the follower, whereas, ballingers article is published
in a credible database and discussed the reactions of loyal followers to the new organizational
leader after the old leader exits a company. There is a use of charts in Billingers’ article but
none is used in Simths’ article. The language is different, Smith uses more everyday
language that is causal and understood by a broader audience, whereas, Billinger’s article
uses language that is more technical, business jargon, specialized and professional.
