The urinary system relates to sexual function in males because it is all intertwined both anatomically and functionally. The bladder is emptied by going through the urethra which is a tube that passes through the prostate. If there are any issues with the prostate it can cause the urethra to back up and not properly drain the bladder causing infection. [2] 2.
