A Bank Wishes to Collect Data on the Number of Customer Services and the Frequency of
Customer use of these Services
Descriptive and Exploratory Design
Research design is defined as the framework of the purpose, and the inquiry question is
connected with data collection and conclusions to be drawn. Hence, it acts as the foundation for
successfully doing research, and its main objective is to collect data related to the initial research
intention (Sreejesh, 2014). The research methodology to be used in this case of a bank is a
descriptive design. The descriptive model explains market characteristics often by quantitative
means with huge representative samples. But, on the other hand, the experimental design gives
insights into problems and increases its understanding mostly by incorporating qualitative
methods on small non-representative samples.
The data collection method used in this research includes the Association pattern technique and
laddering interviewing technique. The laddering interview method is exploratory, while APT has
a descriptive nature and uses quantitative methods. The research design of the study, therefore,
includes both descriptive and exploratory approaches.
Observation
Bank customer services include; savings account, loans, certificate of deposits, home mortgages,
checking accounts, investment services, and safe deposit boxes.

A Study by the State Government Determines Public Use of Seat Belts
A study was conducted in the North Gondar Zone concerning the use of seat belts in road
transport. A cross-sectional study was used to research and other associated factors. Cross-
sectional design measures differences among various subjects, phenomena, or people rather than
change (Spector, 2019). Researchers can use a relatively passive approach to make informal
inferences based on findings when using this design.
Sampling Technique
A list of minibuses is acquired from North Gondar Road and Transport office. A list of taxis is
also gathered from two taxi associations. A sampling frame is developed in a simple random
method that is used for selection. One hundred sixty-three taxi and 262 minibus drivers are
chosen for data collection.
Observation
Knowledge questions mean score was 5.82± 1 22. Respondents who acquired a mean above 5-7
have a good knowledge of seat belt while those scoring 0-4 are taken to have poor knowledge. 98%
of drivers thought the belt laws minimize injuries. 76% of drivers said individuals should use
seatbelts. 9.2% said drivers only, 14.6% said front sitters, and the drivers
An Observation of a Package Delivery Service to Monitor Delivery Process Overnight
Observational Design
When the researcher can't control the experiment, observational design is accomplished by
comparing subjects against a control group. Observational design is divided into two, namely
indirect observations where individuals are aware they are being watched. The other type is
