Question 1: Planning an Audit and the Regulatory Drivers
The audit plan is a critical thing. It is described as a comprehensive list that outlines
particular procedures that experts use while performing the overall process and gathering all the
needed evidence. In most cases, it is an integrated approach that helps make various conclusions
and draw opinions regarding financial statements (Goodwin, 2014). At the helm of the
assessment, auditors must come up with a well-outlined and developed documentation approach
that gives the procedure required in assessing the risks associated with material misstatements
regarding assertion level and financial statements. In addition to this, auditors must develop an
analogy for control test extend and timing that would help mitigate various risks (Goodwin,
2014). Besides, Regulatory drivers are all the standards and administrative laws that auditors
must meet and adhere to while planning and executing the auditing plan.
Preferably, auditing planning and regulatory drivers are crucial because they outline
auditors' procedures while conducting audits. In addition to this, it helps the auditors outline the
audit's key objectives and tangible benefits that they would gain from the overall process itself
(Goodwin, 2014). Besides, it is a means of ensuring that auditors comply with standards and
professional regulations. This helps reduce all the liability risks that the auditors might encounter
in the process.
Planning an audit and the regulatory drivers are often used in various schools. Most
