Based on the information given above, the fixed costs are $500 per employee weekly labor cost and $1000, the cost of the four ovens. Variable costs are represented by the number of employees per quantity of production and the number of pizza produced (Bridge, & Dodds, 2018). Looking at the table below, the returns are increasing with the range of 0-5 employees but with any additional employees after five diminishing returns take place. 2. Five employees are the most effective for pizza production because any additional worker leads to diminishing returns. At five workers, averages of 180 pizzas are produced per week, which translate to 300 pizzas per week marginal production. 3. Based on the information provided in the table below, the number of workers is minimized when the number of employees is, which gives the lowest marginal cost of $1.67. 4.
