Running Head: COURSE REFLECTION Course Reflection Student’s Name: Course Title: Date: COURSE REFLECTION 2 Course Reflection The healthcare industry is affected by several policies. These policies, in turn, affect the kind of services which the public and private hospitals provide to the community. Through the concepts learned in this course, one can easily suit in any healthcare environment. One gains skills and knowledge in areas such as the increased prices of drugs, the roles of hospitals, and how managed care is evolving. Through understanding how policies influence the setting of medicine prices by pharmacies, one is in a position to make informed decisions on how to make the drugs in higher demand available and accessible to the community. Given communities are affected by different dominance illnesses: this means the medicines needed to cure the dominant disease will be required in plenty. With this knowledge, I will be able to identify pharmacies which produce quality drugs at affordable prices so that a large percentage of the clients can have access.
