Running head: IMAGE PROCESSING SURVEY 1 Image Processing Survey Student’s Name Institutional Affiliation Instructor’s Name Date IMAGE PROCESSING SURVEY IMAGE PROCESSING SURVEY 2 INTRODUCTION Image processing is the creation process of digitalized graphics with the use of different types of computer algorithm (Shih, 2017). It is used when recognizing a pattern, sensing remotes, sharpening images, video, and color creation. Image extraction involves reducing a feature's dimensionalities (Burger & Burge, 2016). The survey analyses techniques of image processing, image segmentation, grayscale as well as linearity and binary. Their application and ways of operation are discussed in the survey. Image processing In image processing, sophisticated activities are allowed to be performed when conducting simple tasks as well as in implementing advanced tests that cannot be done manually. Image processing is done for the enhancement of image extraction, classifying, projecting, recognizing of patterns, and various scale analyzing of signals. In image processing, several techniques are utilized, which include wavelet, editing of images (shapes, color, effects addition, and decoration), restoring images as well as in filterings (Burger & Burge, 2016). Codes are utilized during the process. In this process, an image is first imported through the use of an acquisition tool of graphics. The image is then analyzed effectively and manipulated. The output is obtained and can either be ...
