People with high cultural intelligence are accustomed to attitudes, values, body language and beliefs of people from diverse cultures and they utilize this knowledge to intermingle with both understanding and empathy. However, people with high cultural intelligence are not specialists in all cultures, though they make use of empathy, observation and intelligence to learn about situations that people might be facing hence coming up with well-versed decisions. In addition, people with high cultural intelligence utilize it in monitoring their activities. For example, they observe what is trending and then adapt accordingly. Critical thinking I agree with the author that cultural intelligence is very important due to various reasons; first, it enables one to be in a position to work efficiently with team members from diverse cultures. In addition, it helps in resolving of disputes among team members and helps in creating a conducive work environment.
