Running head: STRATEGIC HOTEL MANAGEMENT Strategic hotel management: HOTS HOTEL Name: Institution Affiliation: 1 STRATEGIC HOTEL MANAGEMENT 2 Strategic Hotel Management: HOTS HOTEL Owing to the current issues in our main markets in China and America, it has become essential to analyze the situation to come up with strategies that can be employed to alleviate the situation. This is because the Chinese and American markets represent some of the most important markets for the sustainability of the HOTS hotel. The main issue identified for the decline in occupancy from the Chinese and American markets is the political tensions and forthcoming elections, respectively. In this light, this brief will provide some strategic approaches to revitalizing the markets and increase the performance and sustainability of HOTS. Achieving a competitive advantage over the firm’s competitors as well as enhancing the performance efficiency should be the key objectives of the company. The decline in the sales and occupancy from the two primary markets represents a huge concern for the company since a significant part of the company’s sustainability relies on the efficiency and the performance of these two markets. In the Chinese markets, the changes in the political scene have affected the government policy concerning the hotel industry and the HOTS hotels for that matter.
