This would definitely work given the time limit within which the tool completes the assessment procedure (SAMSHA, n.d.). It eventually provides provable results of the survivor’s progress that even they themselves can see how far they have come from trauma. In addition to this, being able to actively monitor the progress on a scale that can be relied upon is beneficial for not only the survivor but also the caregiver or social worker working with them.
