***Attaching Worksheet below****** NO PLAGIARISM***My thesis statement for previous units was: The community issue we run into here in Montgomery County is the constant construction with the roads that are most trafficked causing heavy traffic jams for those who work the regular 9-5 hours. This county ignores the less-trafficked roads and focuses on the opposite. I think if they shifted their focus to the less-trafficked roads it would improve the traffic flow and allow individuals to take alternate routes on their commute to and from work. After conducting a little bit of research, I've come to find out its the Highway Department who is in charge of ensuring proper construction is being met in the correct areas. Some challenges that could come with improving the workflow in construction would be scheduling proper hours on how which roads are going to be worked on first. I'm aware some construction crews work overnight when the traffic is lower, but I don't think they take into considerations when closing down lanes how it's gonna affect the traffic flow the next day. A different challenge might be budgeting for the projects, kind of difficult to tell how much money they can actually work with.Thesis: The Montgomery County Highway Department should consider constructing roads in lower-traffic areas because this will provide fewer traffic jams, an improvement to the community, and a decrease in traffic jams during heavy traffic hours.
