According to Hope, the restrictions set for medical researchers tend to inhibit the process of reaching optimum results. Today, medical research on harmful substances like cigarettes is restricted to minimum levels believed to inflict less effect. However, by doing so, the researchers fail to obtain real results because of the low dosage used during the experiment. While substances like cigarettes are considered harmful when conducting medical research, they are allowed in the markets for potential consumers to purchase them.
