This is a family of Latin American decency since the partners are of Latin American society. The family setting is that of a nuclear family type consisting of four members, a father, a mother and their two children (daughter aged 11 and son aged 7) and thus, the family can be referred as a young family. 2. Roles of each family member. Who is the leader in the family? Who is the primary provider? Is there any other provider? The roles of each family member in this family are based on the traditional roles played by members of a family where the children perform minor household chores and the parents provide the care for the children (Hess, & Handel, 2018). In addition to the traditional family roles, the father is seen as the leader and primary provider with the mother having the second position in leadership and the housewife as well as being the provider of the family on a secondary basis. 3. The family has medical health insurance the covers the medical aspects for each member of the family which they use to the advantage of having regular health checks.
