It is a multinational tech company. It also focuses on e-books. It has its headquarters at the Seattle, Washington. It also enables authors and publishers to choose a suitable royalty option with Kindle Direct Publishing. It was started by Jeff Bezos (former Wall Street Hedge Fund Manager) in the year 1994. In doing research, Bezos found out that he could deliver books to anyone at any time. He began selling books online. He met skepticism with journalist and financial analysists saying it would lose its market value. The company did not get any profits up to the year 2001, but it continued to multiply.
