Running Head: CREATING A REPORT 1 Creating a Report Name: Institution: CREATING A REPORT 2 Creating a Report Introduction In our modern society especially in workplaces, people are filled with a common mentality that teams boost creativity and productivity, especially when faced by a challenging situation. Most leaders work with the assumption that the best and most appropriate ways of getting the work done are through the use of teamwork (Gallagher & Leddy, 2017). However, Richard Hackman has spent a lot of time in his profession figuring out the use of teamwork. Through his research, he exposed how bad people operate while working as a team. This paper seeks to explain the advantages and disadvantages of working as a team in response to Richard Hackman’s statement concerning teamwork. Body We cannot abolish teamwork completely especially in a workplace and at the same time, we should not be addicts of teamwork. In this report, there is an outline of the advantages and disadvantages of working as a team. There is also a clear report on myths and misconceptions that people have about teamwork and how to come up with a good team.
