From Liz’s presentation, I was drawn to her notion that when working with the homeless and disabled artists, as a social entrepreneur, she often hears refrains from these people that they do not want a handout, they want an opportunity. In her presentation, she attempts to explore the concept of “art lifting” which is an important way to create chances for people by focusing on their talents rather than their circumstances. I like the fact that she introduces story inside her presentation as a way to create and align the audience to get to understand the situation.
