In the film The Birds (1963), the story begins with a refreshing moment where the main protagonists are falling in love, which later turns horrific due to the seagulls attacking the town. In this story, the most challenging situation is the impossible love story in a setting full of obstacles. Although these two individuals seem to share some chemistry, everything else is working against them and hence the need to take care of the priorities before anything else. Hitchcock begins the story as a fairy tale whereby Melanie Daniels, a wealthy socialite, is falling in love with Mitch, from a small town.
