Regardless of industry and type of company, the main goal for business continuity plan is usually similar to that of the business continuity management. The goal is to deal with events that can cause potential disruption to the company's operations. That has to be done within the least time possible and that the impacts of such threats on day to day running of organizational processes is minimized as much as possible. Business continuity planning (BCP) has evolved so much that today in other quarters, it is referred to as continuous service delivery assurance (CSDA).
