When individuals develop depression, they feel themselves having thoughts they wouldn’t normally have, and the symptoms begin taking over their lives relating to the behaviors and feelings the individual is having about themselves. Those with depression find daily activities hard to complete, even simple things as just getting out of the bed. The tough times in life that people endure gives the lead for depression to set in. Depression can individuals to become emotionally unstable, requiring help from psychologists and mental health institutions (“National Collaborating Centre for Mental Health”, 2010). What symptoms is Kristen experiencing that suggest a diagnosis of depression? Kristin has developed symptoms of being overly worried, restless, tired, tense, and sometimes losing track of what she was saying in mid-conversation.
