Religion
Religious social institutions are made up of people that are put in groups based upon the
views in which they share. These views include the formation of earth and God’s nature. They do
not see science as an inspiration; instead they are guided by their faith and individual belief.
They are basically led by religion which is inspired by economic, political, social, and spiritual
views. Christians and Roman Catholics share the nature of bringing individuals in as one. They
use service of worship, ceremonies or rituals, and any additional spiritual action that involves
communication. The three sociological theories have a great deal of impacts on the religious
institution. Conflict, functionalism, and interactionism are the three sociological theories.
There are many diverse approaches of how people view religion. These dissimilar
opinions often generate problems. Throughout the world, people tend to have different outlooks
when it comes to beliefs and principles. According to functionalist, religion is an important part
of society (Vissing, 2011, sec. 4.6). This is because it assists in bringing people together that
share the same beliefs. Through religion, answers are being given, unexplainable things are being
explained, and purposes for life are being found. Individual behaviors are inspired by spiritual
learning and scripture. Interactionism is an impact because, for the most part, traditions and
religions have totems. Totems are anything serving as a distinctive, often venerated, emblem or
symbol often symbolizes ones religion[ CITATION Ran12 \l 1033 ]. For example, the cross would
be a totem for Christians. Religion has impacted the conflict theory because of the many
different religious variations which causes problems.
As we all may know, things like beliefs and worshippers are what make religions so
different from one another. On the other hand, functionalism and interactionism is what they
