Search Google for a topic of your choice. Look over the results and choose an example of a
trustworthy article. Explain why you think that this is a good and credible source. Give at
least three reasons.
The internet contains different materials and information intended to address or resolve a
specific problem that might exist in society. Google has billions of articles, and it is essential to
ensure that one has been able to choose a credible article that is informative when making a
decision. Credibility has remained a severe issue that needs to be addressed with urgency. In
ethics, the credibility of sources is an important issue when publishing articles. In this exercise, I
chose to search on “the impacts of covid-19 vaccinations” since it is one of the current trending
issues in the world today. After searching, many articles are listed that address the topic.
However, the article that I chose to be credible is published by the center for disease control and
prevention (CDC) website. CDC is an accredited national public health agency responsible for
ensuring adequate protection of people from health threats.
There are several reasons that I chose the source as credible to get information that is
necessary in writing a paper or making decision. The first reason is because of the authority.
Authority is one of the most critical elements in determining the credibility of the article
(Abraham, 2019). The author of the article is an organization with full authority over issues
concerned with disease prevention. The information is posted based on expert findings. The
second reason that I chose the article as credible is the currency. The article was posted in the
current year, indicating that the issue in concern is updated. The third reason for choosing the
article is objectivity. The article is objective and reveals the facts before embarking on giving an
opinion. It appreciates both the positive and the negative impacts of the vaccines and explains
